The Millinery Collection 
 Miss Amelia's Millinery  will delight any collector of 12th scale hats. Each piece is made individually and will not be repeated so that you can be sure of owning a unique and very special miniature.Extravagant Edwardian hats, stylish Victorian riding hats, Tea hats, Ascot hats and of course my own exclusive range of 19th century mourning hats, to name but a few. My hats have made their way all over the world and many satisfied customers have returned again and again to add these little treasures to their miniature collections.

All the millinery from the Miss Amelia collection is entirely handcrafted from the finest silks and velvets and trimmed with a stunning array of lace, flowers, feathers and ornate silk and satin braid. I will often use vintage and antique trims to get exactly the right effect.Each crown is silk lined and bears the exclusive silk 'Miss Amelia' label. Many brims are wired or stitched to shape and are often faced with ruched silk or chiffon.  Intricate trims and silk flowers are created using 19th century patterns and the hats are constructed using millinery techniques that have been in use for over a century.Miss Amelia's hats are designed to be worn by a 12th scale doll but if you would like to be completely sure please send measurements to ensure a perfect fit.
