The French Magnolia Collection
An exciting new collection of mainly late 19th century hats inspired by French fashions of the time, these beauties have been created from silks and laces in hues of blush, cream, ecru and ashes of roses. Many of these pieces of 12th scale millinery have mid or full length veils draped at the back and all are lined in silk charmeuse or tulle, bearing the exclusive Miss Amelia label. They can all be worn by a 12th scale doll, hairstyle permitting.

Margaux.......Ashes of roses silk trimmed with creamy guipure lace give this enchanting hat a french country air. The brim is slightly upturned and trimmed with delicate ecru lace. A mass of handmade rosebuds adorn the front and a sweep of ivory marabou adds the final touch

Victoire......A dainty chapeau based on a Paris fashion from 1870 the brim is of pale rose silk and the shaped ivory crown is overlaid with embroidered tulle. A roll of tulle and lace trims the brim and palest pink beads are stitched into the crown. An ivory veil falls to the back

Maëlie......Such a delicate piece of 12th scale millinery this hat has a woven soft straw like narrow brim. The crown consists of gentle folds of palest pink silk. A rosette of deep ecru lace and a band of tiny pearls add the finishing touch
